Performance Max campaigns

Performance Max (PMax) is Blockchain-Ads' all-in-one campaign format. Rather than running a single ad type, PMax automatically distributes your creatives across Display, Native, and Video placements — letting the platform's algorithm find the highest-performing combination for your goal.

How it works

When you launch a Performance Max campaign, you upload a set of creatives — one per format type. The Blockchain-Ads algorithm then runs all formats simultaneously, continuously shifting budget toward whichever format and placement is driving the best results for your chosen objective.

Think of it like Google's PMax — you provide the assets, the platform handles placement, optimisation, and budget allocation automatically across all available inventory.

Each format within a PMax campaign follows its own specifications. All specs apply per asset uploaded.

How to set up a Performance Max campaign

  1. Choose your objective: Select Brand Awareness, Website Traffic, Downloads/Sign Ups, or Sales/Deposits from the campaign creation form.
  2. Select Performance Max as your format: In the campaign format selection screen, choose the Performance Max card.
  3. Upload your creatives: Upload at least one asset per format type (Display image, Native image + copy, Video file). All individual format specs apply.
  4. Set targeting and budget: Configure audience targeting, geo, device, and daily budget as normal. The algorithm handles distribution across formats automatically.
  5. Submit for review: Campaigns go through a standard 24-hour review. Once approved, the algorithm begins testing and optimising your creatives.
Pro tip: For best results, provide high-quality creative for all three format types. If one format has a weak or missing asset the algorithm has less to work with and may underperform on that channel.
