Referral codes and tracking
Your referral link is how an advertiser gets attributed to you. Attribution decides commission, so getting the link in front of the advertiser before they apply is the whole job.
How attribution works
- Find your referral link in the Referral Program tab under Settings. It carries your referral code.
- Share it with the advertiser before they apply. You can also send an invitation by email from the same tab, which delivers your code with it.
- The advertiser applies through your link.
- The account appears in your Referred Users list once it is verified and funded.
Commission then follows that account's ad spend, at 10%, for as long as they keep spending.
Reading your Referred Users list
The list shows each referral with its Invite Status, Date Referred, Account Created, Account Balance and Commission, plus a running Total Commission. An entry sitting at Pending means the invitation has gone out and the account has not completed setup.
If you are introducing an advertiser directly
Where you introduce an advertiser without a link, tell your partner contact before the advertiser applies, so attribution can be set on the account. After the fact is harder, because the account already exists without a referral code on it.
Notes
Both verification and funding have to complete before a referral appears, so a real referral can be invisible for a while. An advertiser who applied outside your link does not earn commission, which is why the link matters more than the introduction.
