Policy Issues

A campaign or account flagged for a policy issue has not failed permanently. It comes back with the reason and the change needed.

Steps to fix a policy issue

1. Read the reason given in HUB.
2. Edit the campaign or creative to comply. The most common issues are creative that does not match the landing page, an unsupported claim, missing age-gating, or a missing disclaimer.
3. Resubmit for review.

Prohibited content is different from a fixable violation. Illegal products or services, and adult content, are not accepted on Blockchain-Ads at all, regardless of gating or disclaimers. See Prohibited and restricted content for the full list. A prohibited-content flag cannot be resolved by editing, only by not running that offer.

Repeated fixable violations can lead to account suspension, so resolve the underlying cause directly, each time.

• What's the difference between a policy issue and a rejected campaign? They're the same review outcome, described two ways: the campaign is returned with changes needed.
• Can I appeal a decision? Contact support with your campaign ID and the substantiation for your claim.
• Can my account be suspended? Yes, for repeated violations. Fix the underlying cause, not just the individual flagged campaign.
