About
FortuneJack

FortuneJack is a long-running crypto casino and sportsbook accepting Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies. It offers casino games, live dealer tables, and sports betting under a single account. The platform targets crypto-native bettors and casino players who want the breadth of a traditional gambling site without fiat payment friction. FortuneJack competes on welcome bonus depth, sportsbook coverage across major leagues, and the speed of crypto withdrawals.

  • Target Audience: Crypto holders aged 21–45 with combined sports betting and casino interest
  • Growth Stage: Enterprise

A note on attribution: FortuneJack works with a network of affiliate partners who run their own independent campaigns on Blockchain-Ads, each bringing a distinct geo focus and creative strategy to the platform. This case study covers one of those affiliate-run campaigns and is designed to show what Blockchain-Ads can achieve for FortuneJack-aligned partners. How results translate across the broader affiliate network will depend on market selection, event timing, and campaign structure.

The Challenge

FortuneJack needed to convert crypto-active sports fans into first-time depositors by anchoring acquisition to high-attention sports moments rather than running generic casino offer campaigns. Executing that successfully came with three compounding obstacles:

  • Audience intent gap: Sports betting audiences require a sports-native entry point before being introduced to broader casino mechanics.
  • Event window efficiency: Sports event campaigns must launch, convert, and extend within a tight window before audience attention moves to the next fixture.
  • Retargeting depth: Converting sports bettors into casino depositors requires a secondary offer layer after the initial event creative has run.

Why Blockchain-Ads

Crypto casino and sportsbook advertising is restricted on Google and Meta across all five target markets. Blockchain-Ads provided the only viable route to crypto-active sports and casino audiences at scale across North America and Europe. Blockchain-Ads delivered on both counts through four key capabilities:

  • Web3 audience targeting: Campaigns reached wallets with verified on-chain activity, not modelled sports interest proxies.
  • iGaming and sports publisher access: The network covered thousands of crypto, casino, and sports-adjacent sites across all target geos.
  • Event-aligned campaign execution: Sports event campaigns launched and scaled within the UCL Finals window without platform policy delays.
  • Retargeting capability: Blockchain-Ads supported a sequential retargeting layer to push the UCL sports audience toward casino deposit offers.

Campaign Results

  • Blended CPA: $332.20 across 185 total conversions.
  • UCL Finals CPA reduction vs blended account rate: 48%.
  • Impressions: 8.5M+ delivered across all campaigns and geos.
  • Blended CTR: 0.39% across all formats.
  • Blended CPC: $1.85.

Campaign Strategy

Phase 1: Learning (Month 1–2)

The campaign launched with geo-specific acquisition and sports moment campaigns to identify which markets and offer mechanics converted before committing to larger event budgets. A General Welcome Pack activated across the US, Germany, and France with a deposit bonus creative offering a 110% match and free spins. Geo-specific campaigns tested English and German-language audiences separately across North America, Europe, and Australia.

A sports promo window ran across the US, Canada, and Germany with a "Bet Now" creative tied to a mid-season fixture slate. The Welcome Pack delivered 6 conversions at $158.30 CPA. The sports promo delivered 7 conversions at $360.10 CPA. These phases identified Germany and North America as the strongest converting markets and confirmed that sports-tied creatives drove stronger intent than generic welcome offers.

Phase 2: Consideration (Month 2–3)

With converting markets and creative angles validated, the campaign scaled into event-specific acquisition. The Super Cup Final campaign activated across Germany, the US, and France with the "$200 Guaranteed Freebet" creative. A retargeting campaign re-engaged audiences from the earlier phases with a casino mechanics pivot.

The Miami Vice-themed free spins offer and a $1,000,000 prize pool promotion introduced FortuneJack's casino product to audiences already familiar with the sportsbook offer. The Super Cup delivered 6 conversions at $349.32 CPA. The retargeting campaign delivered 4 conversions and confirmed that the warmed sports audience was receptive to casino deposit offers as a second-step mechanic.

Phase 3: Acquisition (Month 3–5)

Validated markets, creative angles, and audience segments from Phases 1 and 2 fed directly into the highest-scale event campaign of the account. The UCL Champions League Finals campaign launched across Canada, Germany, and France with the "$200 Guaranteed Freebet" creative anchored to the UCL trophy visual. The event-tied urgency and sports-native creative format converted crypto-active sports fans at the highest rate in the account.

The UCL Finals campaign delivered 135 conversions at a $172.74 CPA across 3.5M+ impressions, accounting for 73% of all conversions in the account. The phased audience and creative validation from the preceding months directly enabled the efficiency of this campaign.
